Our office is proud to offer Invisalign® clear braces, a system that has revolutionized teen and adult orthodontics. The Invisalign® system enables you to achieve a straight, beautiful smile without the inconvenience posed by traditional braces. Rather than hassling with wires, rubber bands, and difficulty cleaning, patients simply wear a series of clear plastic Invisalign® aligners that gradually shift their teeth into position over time. The aligners can be removed while eating, drinking, and during special occasions. Here’s how Invisalign® works:

• Using the 3-D computer digital imaging system Invisalign® plastic molds are fabricated from impressions of your mouth. These molds act as “ clear braces” that fit easily over your teeth as they gradually shift them into place.
• The Invisalign® system predicts the stages that your teeth will go through while shifting into an ideal position. This position is determined by Dr. Sakos and Invisalign. Every two weeks, you will pick up a new, slightly changed aligner at our office. You will wear the Invisalign® clear braces until your teeth are fully aligned. Treatment can be as short as 6 months and as long as two years with the typical case being less than a year.
