We understand how important it is to feel at ease when visiting a Dental Office; our staff strives to provide the highest quality dental care possible for our patients. We will do our best to assist you with prompt and efficient service while meeting all of your dental needs.

Lisa - Office Manager

Lisa was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband Sebastian relocated to Austin in the spring of 2007, and are enjoying their new home and meeting new friends. Prior to moving here, she had experience as an office manager in a dental office in Ohio. She started working with Dr. Sakos in Sept of 2007. You will find her busy keeping the office running smoothly and patients well cared for. She will be happy to answer any questions regarding appointments, insurance or treatment plans.

Lisa and her husband have two sons, Brandon who lives in Cleveland and is a 4th year Medical Student doing his rotations through the Cleveland Clinic and Sammy who is a 1st yr. Medical Student at LECOM in Erie, Pa. She loves the Texas weather and the fact that she can enjoy the outdoors all year round. Walking, working out, and Kayaking on Town Lake are some of her favorite things to do.

Myra - Scheduling Coordinator

Myra was born and raised in Austin. She attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and then returned to Austin to continue her dental assisting career. Myra is a Registered Dental Assistant with over 25 years experience. Myra takes great pride in providing great customer service to our patients. She wants everyone to feel like family.

Myra has been married to Glenn for a little over 32 years. They have 3 adult children, and if you ask Myra, the THREE most wonderful grandchildren in Austin. She enjoys spending time with her family, "Granny Time", scrapbooking, "Granny Time", playing Farmville, and most of all PLAYING with those grandbabies. (Did she mention she has the three most wonderful grandchildren?)

Debbie - Dental Assistant

Debbie has lived most of her life in Austin, where she attended Austin Community College Dental Assisting program and became a Registered Dental Assistant. She is very professional and takes great pride in her work. She joined Dr Sakos' office in March of 2008.

She enjoys riding her Harley, listening to music, cooking and working out. Debbie enjoys spending time outdoors walking her new dogs and bike riding.

She also plays an important role in her family Auto Business.

Linda - Dental Hygienist

Linda was born and raised in Palatine, Illinois. She graduated from University of Colorado Health Science Center with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.

Linda is married to Bill and they have two sons; Michael and Sean. The family relocated to Austin from Colorado in 1999. She has been working with Dr. Sakos for over 10 years as a Dental Hygienist. Linda and her husband are enjoying being empty nesters. Between visiting Michael in Washington D.C. and Sean at Southern Methodist University they enjoy their time together with outdoor activities such as hiking and boating.

Michelle - Dental Hygienist

Michelle relocated to Austin from College Station, TX almost 8 years ago. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University (Please don't hold that against her!) and went on to Blinn College to study Dental Hygiene.

She and her husband Trey are enjoying the active lifestyle in this wonderful city by running and training for triathlons together. When not at work you can find them traveling, catching live music shows and cheering on football. Hopefully her gentle touch will make your visit pain-free!

Dr. Knaus - Doctor

Dr. Rick Knaus graduated from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1974, and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Knaus has been practicing dentistry for 36 years.

He resides in Austin with his wife Patty. They have two sons and two grandchildren.

Dr. Knaus has been exclusively doing endo (root canals) since 1995.

Dr. Burden - Doctor

Dr. David Burden graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his under-graduate studies at Texas A&M University in 2001, where he received a B.S. in Genetics.

Additionally, Dr. Burden also completed a one-year advanced education in general dentistry residency at UTHSCSA, where he received training in Intravenous Conscious Sedation, complicated oral surgery procedures, and implant dentistry procedures.

He has been married to his wife, Lauren, since 2002, and in 2008 they had a baby boy named Jack.
