Self Exam

Since all of us get "used to" our teeth, we become blind to how we appear to others. This self-exam allows you to reflect on your smile and what steps you might want to take to improve it.

Questions:
Do you have straight, bright, white teeth that others consider beautiful?

If so, you are a VERY rare person who has been blessed with wonderful genetics. If not, below are specific questions to help pinpoint your areas of concern:

Do you have spaces or gaps between your teeth?
Do you have silver or gray dental fillings?
Are you missing teeth?
Are your teeth as white as you would like?
Are your teeth straight? (as straight as you would like?)
Are your gums irregularly shaped, higher on some teeth, lower on others?
Are your teeth too small or too large?
Are the edges of your teeth (as a group) too long or too short?
Do your teeth slant one way or another?
Is the midline of your two front teeth centered with your face and nose?
Are the edges of your canines too pointed or too flat?
Are the biting edges worn down?
Have your gums receded?
Do you have old bonding that doesn't match your regular teeth?
Do you have crowned teeth that don't match your natural teeth?

After completing this self-exam, you can print it out - the check marks will remain on the print.
